Boots and Bindings for your Snowboards You are going to be looking for boots that fit your feet as close as possible not too loose. If your boots are loose you will not have the needed control and if they are too tight you will be in misery. This is really important...size!!!! They also need to be able to keep your feet warm so when looking at boots dont always rely on the cheaper price tag as they may not be warm enough. Look for a good lining in your boot as well as some good cushion. The boots need to be flexible and allow you good control for speed and direction of your board. When the boots are too stiff you will have a greater risk of falling. Your binding will be determined by the boot you choose. Try on all your options in the store before taking them out on the snow. Also make sure the store offers a good return policy before you purchase. If your boots dont work then you wont be out the money. Again for a beginner check out the used snowboard boots and bindings.
In the low-level price range women only have one option in the freestyle category. Womens boards will cost you around $300 or less. Childrens boards will cost you around $200. Rossignol offers several different types of boards. They have the all terrain snowboard the all mountain snowboard the ECO snowboard the freestyle snowboard the mens freestyle snowboard the womens freestyle snowboard and the womens snowboard. Surely with the variety of categories that Rossignol has to offer you will be able to locate the perfect snowboard for you. The graphics and design of the Rossignol snowboards are laid back compared to those of other companies. You can still get some funky art and cool colors just maybe not as bright or wild as you would like.
But if you really have to put a lot of weight into it than it is probably a little too stiff for what you want. If you are shopping at an online snowboarding store check the board review or product description. Usually they will say something about the flex of the board. Or they might have a ratings system where they rate the torsional(side to side) flex and the longitudinal(tip to tail) flex. The higher the number the more flexible it is. The bottom line is that the best beginner snowboard is one that is easier to turn. The first and most basic aspect of snowboarding is turning but for someone just starting out it can be difficult. Buy snowboards that are softer and they will make learning to turn easier. And the good thing is is that most entry level to mid-ranged priced snowboards have a softer flex so you wont have to break the bank to get a snowboard. Good Luck and Have Fun.
K2 is another brand that is popular with snowboarders. Again they offer a variety of other accessories besides just a board. The K2 snowboards are less expensive than the Burton snowboards but you can still expect to pay a couple of hundred dollars plus tax. They come with cool graphics. You can find some great deals on K2 boards but they do have some minor defects; however if they do you are definitely notified before purchase. Determining what type of snowboard will work best for you can be a little confusing if you dont ask for help. Talk to someone who knows what they are talking about and they should be able to suggest what will work best for you. Your shoe size will help to determine how wide you will want your board.
